new to wordpress and need help to customize the semplice theme

    I am new to wordpress , and trying to set up a new blog. I guess I’m old fashioned but I was hoping to call an IT department to have someone walk me through the set up process. I am unable to make changes to the semplice theme that I purchased. I cannot edit the sample text to my own text. HELP ! I am reading some of the questions and answers and I don’t understand a lot of the verbage used. I really need a Q and A session for the very basic beginner!

    this forum here is specifically for the Fontsampler plugin. If you have issues particularly with the plugin I am happy to help where I can, but need a more detailed description of what you are trying to achieve and what is not working like you expect ??
