• Hello,

I’ve only recently started using WordPress, and I can say I have almost 0 knowledge in HTML or CSS. So I might be asking some very basic questions.

Before starting, I want to show what I want to create on my website. https://www.onedesigns.com/wordpress-themes/pinboard
This is the link of a theme that I’m not using. However, on the home page, there are thumbnails were there’s a picture and little parts of post in one big rectangle. I want to be able to create this effect on a different theme manually. Most of the theme that I like don’t have this feature included.

I don’t want this feature to appear everywhere. Only on certain pages (such as the archives, or categories). On the home page, I just want a normal website showing the complete full blog post (or multiple full blog posts).

Will anyone be able to help me or guide me?

    Thanks a lot!
