New to WordPress – Smush new also

I am new to WordPress. I read of the importance of having images match their containers. In searching through the online discussions the SMUSH product kept popping up and ASTRA PRO and Elementor Pro ‘liked’ the product. I installed Smush and it has served me well. Four stars because the introduction vocabulary was hard for me to grasp. Especially, how I could Smush my previously downloaded images in the image library.
