New to WP – How to backup your site and more to new server

Ok i’m a newbee at WP – I use for lots of my clients Joomla (yes i know a bad word here)

But I use a program called Akeeba to back up my site complete with files and DB and then i can take the backup to my new server and it does it all, resotres the DB and files.. All i have to do is make the new DB on that server.

What program does Word Press users use?

As i have to creat a WP webiste for a client and right now there live site is LIVE and want to do this on my Dev server.. just wonder how
