• Hi everyone,
I made a plugin that show the corona virus data in WordPress site, today I submitted the new version to SVN trunk, including the new language .mo .po files.

But after I update the new version in main site, the translation files are not working.

I see there is old translation in :
    \wp-content\languages\plugins

    My new translation in:
    \wp-content\plugins\corona-virus-data\languages

When user update the plugin, they will use the old translation instead the new one, so new words won’t be translated.

Is there any idea to force update the translate files for users?

  • Hallo ??

You are more likely to get an answer to this question in the #pluginreview channel on Slack, or by e-mailing the Plugins team.
It is very unlikely that they will see your question here and when it comes to updating plugins in the official www.ads-software.com repository, they are the people to speak to ??
