    Hi to all, we wrote them thru their website suppport, asking where to find those new tags, as in our backoffice where the same as we use. It took 2 weeks to receive an answer from their support and this was the answer after all this time:

    So, seems they didn′t even read our email, just sended an automatic answer after all this days awaiting for them…. We wrote them back at this email answer, asking same question more than a week ago, and got no answer….

    In 6 months we’ll meet here just to realize the plugin is not going to be updated.

    Hi to all, we have a few websites with Quantcast Choice TAG and Wordpres plugin, as we wrote a few past days ago, the TAGS the we should update are exactly the same as we have all of us, so really it’s weird, as I wrote we got an asnwer from them after our email asking for this new tag, that didn′t answer our question, then we wrote them back and got no answer back at all.

    Today, we receive againg the same email in of our other company accounts, but same thing, after going thru the steps they tell uf to follow, the TAG is exactly the same as we all have, the suposed old one that has to be changed before 6 months time:

    As a valued Quantcast Choice client, we wanted to alert you to changes that need to be made to the Choice Tag on your website by no later than December 15th of this year.
    
    Why This Change Needs to be Made:
    
    Due to a recent change in the Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) policy and specification by the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD), our current CMP endpoint (the domain where the CMP is loaded) has changed. 
    This ruling will affect all CMPs, and require changes regardless of your CMP provider.
    Because of this recent change, the Quantcast Choice Universal Tag (the Choice tag that you integrated onto your page) will need to be updated.
    
    How to Make this Change:
    
    You will need to get a new tag through our Choice Portal, please click or copy and paste the link below:

    Once you’ve copy/pasted the link above, you can get your updated tag through the Choice Portal by selecting the “</> Universal Tag” button

    This is like a joke, they do not answer suppor emails abouth this thread, they do not asnwer here thru wordpress at all and there is no new tag either….

    Please, if anyone gets an answer from them, share it, so we all can move foward. Thank you!

    Hi, I got an answer from Quancast and te resume would be that we have to take off our TAG, SAVE, and ADD AGAING SAME TAG.

    The point its that there is 2 options for including the Tag, one is at HEADER CODE, the other is with the WORDPRESS PLUGIN and they do not have this update yet. So, I might unistall the WordPress plugin and imput the TAG code at wordpress header, untill they solve that about WP plugin from their side.

    Additionally, I have reviewed and confirmed that the added properties have our old Universal tag. So we recommend deleting the existing tags from the websites and adding the updated Universal Tag from your property's dashboard (https://www.quantcast.com/protect/p-sgy_XXXXXXXXXX/properties).
     
    Please do copy the new Universal Tag by clicking the "</>Universal Tag" button over the right corner of your dashboard.

    For WordPress Plugin, we are still in discussion with the product & engineering team, I will get back to you if we get any updates in between this phase.

    It’s not the same TAG, at least the domain has changed.

    @webdados, the domain has changed, this is why we have to update the tag, but the tag hasn′t changed, this is why we have to take it off the then place it back. We have opted for deactivating the wordpress plugin and incluiding the new tag at header, so we have it finally updated ??

    I’ve added it to my “toolbox” plugin and I can easily implement it on all my websites. I don’t think they’re going to update the plugin anymore. It’s left behind.

    Hi @mattiave, you have to:

    1. “Deactivate” the Quantcast WordPress plugin at your Admin WordPress website first (at plugins section).
    2. Then you have to login and copy at Quantcast company website your “UNIVERSAL TAG”.
    3. After this, you have to return back to your WordPress Admin at your website and go to “Appearance > File Editor” and select your “Theme”, after selecting your theme find the file on it named: “Header.php” and select it.
    4. Find on that file this: </header> and before it, PASTE your Universal Tag that you copied from Quantcast and SAVE the changes.

    That is all, this is a very basic wordpress knowledge, for sure you have to know how to do it ??

    Please DO NOT edit your theme, unless you’re using a child theme and already have header.php on it. It’s a terrible practice to edit theme files.

    Use the wp_head hook or a “header/footer” plugin.
