New update 2.9.9 resulted in blog with only title and tagline visible

  • I have just updated my evolve theme to 2.9.9 which resulted in a almost a blank page – there is only title and tagline visible on my blog page:

    There are no errors shown on my dashboard. I am new to blogging, is there anything I was suppose to do before updating a theme or is it he update error? If so then what should I do now?
