    Hi everyone,

the new update from WooCommerce is horrible.
My whole page crashed. The shop is completely disabled and I can’t get access to my backend anymore.

How can I reset to 5.6 or get access to my backend again??
I tried to load a backup via my hosting company but this didn’t work neither.

    Thanks for your help!

    And one add on this:
When I try to enter the backend the system tells me that WooCommerce has to be activated to run several plugins.

I was able to enter the backend only one time and I could notice that WooCommerce were completely gone. Couldn’t find it anymore and couldn’t search for it.

Now I’m not able to enter it anymore after trying to load the backup version from 4 days ago.

I created the same problem for my site updating to version 5.7

I reinstalled version 5.6 but to no avail and my site is still down

WooCommerce developers please fix the problem

    Thanks

@soleymani good to hear that I’m not alone with this bug ??

I don’t know how get access to my page anymore even when they update the plugin. That’s really annoying…

    @beyondaries
    nice to meet you

For now, for your site to work
Go to C Panel and go to the plugin folder.
Rename the woocommerce folder then enter this address in your browser:

    https://yoursiteadress.com/wp-admin/plugins.php

    Type and press Enter

Thats the problem, I can’t get access to that page

When I try this the page tells me the following:
Email Customizer Pro for WooCommerce needs WooCommerce.
WooCommerce must be active for Email Customizer Pro for WooCommerce to work. Please install & activate WooCommerce.

The same problem here. Came back to hosting backup or rollback to previous version solve anything. I hope they will release a fix soon.

@beyondaries use ftp and put – this in front of the folder name of woocommerce and the email customized to rename it. With this it’ll be deactivated. Login to you page and rename the folders back to normal. You can use wp rollback to go to a earlier version of woocommerce.

    Thanks!

@beyondaries It sounds like you might have a corrupted WooCommerce install on your site perhaps. That can be fixed by a manual installation of a fresh version, like so:

Connect to your site over FTP, SFTP, or SSH and browse to this directory:

    wp-content/plugins

Once there, delete the woocommerce folder. This will only delete WooCommerce’s files, but leave the actual data intact in your database.

Then you can download the latest version of WooCommerce directly from here:

    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/woocommerce.5.7.0.zip

Extract the ZIP file, then upload it into wp-content/plugins.

Once that’s done, try to access your WordPress dashboard again. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and find WooCommerce in that list, then activate it.

Let me know if that does not work for you. Thanks!
