The plugin was perfect functional until the new major update. They rewrote the code, and my site upgraded it automatically, so it broke my site. It took 3 hours to understand why, it was this plugin.

So I installed old one and I’ll search now a better one, if there is, unfortunately I’ll say a good bye to this old friend.

Maybe it would be functional again. ?? (I’m using Cesis Theme, problem was with the pages with B-Bakery Builder)

If you have the time… please give the latest release candidate (RC) a try. Here’s the link:

I’m going to mark this as resolved since the original posted has not responded. If you still have trouble with the latest RC, please open a new ticket. Thanks!

ps. Unfortunately I have not heard back from WPBakery support team about a license so I can debug. Perhaps you, as a customer, will get a more receptive to the idea of helping.

    @ All

I now have a copy of WPBakery and with RC7, I was actually not able to replicate the issues present in this support ticket thread. I did not test any previous release candidate version so per haps this is now resolved. I you have time, please do give the RC7 a test. The link is in my last post.

FWIW, my page at https://uucm.org/messed-up-uucm-member-biographies/ (which I have removed, and reverted to the original, protected by login, page) seems to be fine now. I noticed there was a new version of your plugin, which I have updated to.

Great to hear this works for you now! Since I have been doing “mini” releases, addressing issues as they crop up … which version do you have installed?

The current version on my site is Version 2.0-rc8

I should also say that, while all this has been happening, I have discovered that a different plugin, “Side Menu Lite” was interfering with links on my site. I removed it, and replaced it with a different plugin that provides similar functionality, and the link interference went away. It is entirely possible that there may have been interference from this plugin that might have caused the problem I saw. I have no proof that this is the case, but it bears consideration.

    Thanks!
