New update – correct procedure to update?

    The update notification will show up in your WordPress Plugins page, and along with it will be a link that says “Install Update Now”. All you need to do is click that ?? The update will be installed and everything will remain running exactly (just better) as it was before.

    Ok thanks for that, so what happens if a buyer is currently using my site and EDD is being accessed and the update is being made at the same time; is there any chance it will create any errors in the buying process – even for a split second?

    It is technically possible but the likelihood is extremely small.
