New update crashed my backend

  • I made the new update (Version 1.5.14) and didnt made a backup before. My website is still working. But the make new post/page and edit post/page area is completely ruined. I see the text field and I can write something but the options at the right are gone (categories, tags, etc.) and there isn’t even a submit or save button. It still works when I deactivate the plugin but I would like to use the plugin. Can someone tell me how to fix this please?

  • I have a similar problem, seems the newest version isn’t compatible with the current WordPress version.

    Is there some fix available? If I uninstall the plugin and then re-install an older version, would it work? Or does it screw my existing pages or something?

    Really would like a fix, I’m maintaining a website which has to have content in three different languages.

    Just fixed, please update the plugin.

    the plugin last update (1.5.16)is not working on my wp version (4.4.2).
    my site is completely ruined. is there a way to revert a previus version?

    You can download previous verions of Ceceppa HERE (OFFICIAL LINK).
    After that, you have to unpack the zip file and upload to your host through FTP.
    I’m not sure if it can chash some tables in your database. However, it is the best alternative you have for now.
    PS.: Try to check is is not an interference with another plugin that is causing these problems, once I was using another plugin that used some values equals to CML, so they crashed and my backend was ruined.
    I recommend you to do this downgrade and if it doesn’t work you should try to disable other plugins (beginning with the “unnecessary ones”).
