    Hello,

I updated your plugin to the newest 12.3.02 version with Advanced Pack also updated to 2.1.6.

Here are some issues I have encountered since.

No Category Base feature was automatically disabled after the update. I had to activate it again.

Also, while searching Category in All Features search bar, it shows No Category Base feature twice. Both point to the same Setting page, but it can be confusing.

In Automation settings, your latest update deleted Article schema for JSON-LD Type.

I used it for Post type, now it shows “Nothing Selected”. Article schema is completely missing.

The list of types of Schema types is visually buggy, it’s stretched from bottom to the top of desktop screen, making it difficult to scroll through.

    The last thing.

After the update and going back to WP Dashboard, there was an error line quirrly-seo-pack/models/redirects/Import.php on line 390

It disappeared after refresh, so I am not sure if it’s big problem. It’s probably related to the new Redirect option.

I went through other Settings and they seem to be fine.

Thanks for reading and hopefully fixing these issues soon.

    WordPress is 6.3 version.

    PHP is 8.0.30

New Advanced Pack 2.1.7 update fixed the duplicate “No Category Base” entry in Search.

“Article” JSON-LD Schema is still missing tho.

    Hi @richv22,

Thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing. Yesterday we’ve pushed some new and highly requested features (you can check the updates on our roadmap https://squirrly.feedbear.com/updates), and today, we made some bug fixes.

Regarding the Article schema, that is quite odd, as I’ve taken a look at a few websites of ours and it’s present on all of them (check screenshot here https://ibb.co/tc8916b).

Would you mind sending us a screenshot of how it looks on your side to better understand what is happening? Thank you!

    Thanks for your reply @petersquirrly

I updated Advanced Pack to newest 2.1.8 version and Squirrly SEO to 12.3.03 version.

Unfortunately, the missing Article JSON-LD schema is still missing.

Here is a screenshot with “Nothing Selected” which appeared after the previous update, indicating that selected “Article” Schema just disappeared.

Here is a screenshot of selection menu. As you can see, “Article” Schema is nowhere to be seen.

    Thanks for looking into it.

Please update the add-on by downloading it from here and give it another go.

Also, you can always use newsarticle as it works the same way.

I have good news and hopefully one last question.

The good news is that I updated/reinstalled the plugin with your zip file and Article Schema is finally there. Thank you! Here’s proof:?https://ibb.co/5B5Ws6y

I checked it through Schema Validator and it shows Article type correctly.

In the Schema markup, I noticed “Name” property above “Headline” with the same content – the content being the headline.

    Here’s a screenshot:?https://ibb.co/tqsCc7M

I’ve never noticed it before and other websites with Article and Newsarticle don’t have this “Name” property as a standalone entry. It’s present in Article and Newsarticle.

Of course, I might be wrong, but I thought it would be good idea to mention it just in case.

Thank you very much for your time, work and patience.

Latest Advanced Pack 2.1.9 update fixed the “Name” property Schema bug(?) mentioned in my previous comment. Thanks.

But I noticed another possible issue.

In the Article Schema output, there is Image property with the correct Article image url, but right after height and width parameters, there’s another url that points to a Logo url.

The similar behavior is in logo property (Publisher) at the bottom, but with first url being Article image url and then second url pointing to Logo destination.

    Here’s a screenshot: https://ibb.co/cXkp7QV

If this is correct behavior, then I apologize.

    Hi @richv22,

Yes, we did update the plugin for the “Name” property but you updated it before I got the chance to announce.

However, now I’m back for the latest matter. Try to reinstall the latest version 2.1.9 using this link and check if it happens again.

This zip file fixed the images urls mismatch, thanks!

    Howerer, it changed “id” urls.

Example; there’s “image” property and “id” entry is an url ending with #da9537e09f?instead of #imageobject.

It affects all “id” but the #organization and #Article, which are fine for some reason.

It’s no longer necessary on schema.org, but in order to group it correctly in the rich snippet tool, a short hash ID is given that represents the URL of the image.

Where it’s important for the ID to reflect the publisher, author and Schema type, it is displayed there without the hash ID.

    Thread Starter richv22

    (@richv22)

Thanks, I wasn’t aware of that.

In my output, Author has hash ID too, that’s okay?

If yes, then that’s all from me.

Thank you again for prompt answers and bug fixing.

    Yes, that’s alight to have.

    And glad to help!

    Hello @petersquirrly , it’s me again (sorry).

I noticed inconsistency in Schema output.

Logo image and Article image have the same dimensions (height and width).

Logo image inherits height and width of an Article image.

That’s a bit odd. We’ll check it out and make sure that it’s fixed on the next version, so no worries about it, just upgrade the plugin when the next update comes.

I’m back. Please update the Advanced SEO Pack from Squirrly as now in SEO Expert mode you can manually add width and height to images.
