    Hi,

I recently updated to the new version of Woo commerce Blocks and when I go to create a post I get an error 500.

Deactivating the plugin I can create a post without the error.

Any chance you can help understand why?

    Thanks

  • Getting a fatal error too when creating or editing pages with the latest version (9.7.0) and the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin installed. Had to install the previous version 9.6.3 to allow the page to load.

I’m experiencing the same exact issue. Same reason and same error code.

    Hi @campkins ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that after updating WooCommerce Blocks to its latest version, you are receiving a 500 error when creating a post, is this correct?

I am unable to reproduce this issue on my testing site with the latest version of WooCommerce Blocks installed, as no error is produced when trying to create a new post, as seen in the screenshot below:

My WooCommerce blocks and WooCommerce core versions:

Results when adding a new post:

Furthermore, publishing the post also produces no errors:

This being said, please could you perform a full conflict test to rule out any theme/plugin conflicts which may be causing this issue.

To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Blocks and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

Should the issue persist, please can you share the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
    • Screenshot: Share a screenshot of the exact error you are seeing on your end.

Snipboard.io can be used for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

Once you have these, please share them in your response here.

    Hi @antonynz , @markomiljanovic ,

I understand that you are experiencing the same issue.

Please could you follow the steps above to perform a full conflict test.

Once you have done that, would you?please start your own topic, sharing the results of the conflict test, as well as the information requested here.

Since you’re not the person who originally started this topic then, per the forum guidelines, you would need to create your own topic.

We’ll be happy to assist you further there.

    Cheers!

Resolved for me with the latest version of Facebook for Woocommerce as they have released a patch addressing this.
