New update made my site blank white page

    Love your plugin and the protection it gives us. I’ve been using it for about 6 months.

    Just updated the plugin and my site went down straight away. Each time I deactivate it the site comes back, then when I activate it the site is just a blank white page.

    When I’m logged into the admin I can see the pages on Chrome, but on Safari and Firefox, they are dead.

    No one else can see anything.

    Obviously I have had to keep it deactivated as I have over 2000 members using the site: https://www.theonlinedogtrainer.com/members/

    Please advise.

  • The best short-term solution is to delete the WordFence folder from your plugins folder, and then upload the previous working version from: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordfence/developers/

    If you have FTP then you need to unzip the file before uploading, but if you use the cPanel you can upload the zipped file into the plugins folder and then extract the contents.

    Then you can reactivate WordFence and wait for a fix from the plugin author, or for the next version which will (hopefully) resolve the issue for you.

    I’m having the same issue – just a white page when viewing from the iphone or pc safari. I have to turn off caching to see the site.

    loosing confidence in wordfence. How long has my site been unavailable to safari users and iphone users?

    As @Barnez said, that’s how you repair Wordfence if any files are missing or if your installation is corrupt. This is one possible cause.

    @graemetw in your case I’d guess your site is actually running out of memory. When we get new WF customers installing our product and they see a white screen, it’s usually a site with less than 64 megs of memory that is generating an out of memory error in the error log. You will inevitably run into this issue if you have a site that doesn’t have enough memory.

    Thanks @mark, increased the server to 128 megs and all working fine now.

    Hi I have installed wordfence plugin to remove a spam text in my wordpress website header. After I deleted a corrupted file my sile appears as blank white space.

    How can I rectify this issue and make my site active
    please help
