New update not working

Hi!
After updating the Disqus plugin on my blog to version 2.76 it stopped working. Instead of the Disqus comments being displayed, the comments have the usual WordPress layout as they appear if the plugin is not activated. I tried deactivating and re-activating the plugin, with no change. I did not attempt a new installation, as that appeared as too much work at the moment for something that I hoped will be fixed with the next update.
