New update took down my LiquidWeb server

    Hi. Thanks for plugin, but your latest update exhausted all server connections and killed MySQL for all my sites on that server ?? At first my host support thought we were under DDOS attack as php calls to index.php seemed crazy in numbers.

    It also created for WC sub-menu of ‘Add Tab (classic)’. Amongst all other posts and pages.

    Additionally, every time I try editing a settings page in WooCommerce or from the frontent to add a product to cart maybe also triggers this:

    We are experiencing this same exact issue spread over multiple sites. I have to disable gutenberg everywhere due to this issue.

    I am aware of the issue and working on a solution, should be available later today. In the meantime, it would be helpful to know:

    – The version of WordPress
    – The version of Gutenberg plugin (if using WP less than v5.0)

    For me, the problem shows up on WP 4.9.8 running Disable Gutenberg 1.3
    DG 1.2 works fine.

    Thanks. Still not able to see any error or warning on WP 4.9.8 running default everything and DG 1.3. Which settings are you using? Any other plugins? Any infos appreciated.

    I get the same error on a number of sites with same WP version but with different plugins.
    The error is on the front end of the site, at the very top of a blog post (Have a screen grab if I can somehow send?).
    Common to all is the hosting platform, Liquid Web. I’ve had another recent issue with a different plugin that seems unique to them. I see another poster refers to them too. Would the environment details help?

    @dogsday I am testing on Liquid Web running PHP 7.2 something. So probably good there. Any other infos is useful at this point, as I am unable to see any issue with any of the clues provided so far.

    Feel for you on the debug. Here’s the environment for a site where I’m seeing the issue (Have reverted to DG 1.2 to keep working).

    Thanks that helps. Are you able to do some troubleshooting to narrow the field on plugins? Or even try switching to the default WP theme?

    Happy to help if I can, but you may work out from the plugin list that these are not simple installs and switching to a default theme would cause site disruption.
    I can try with a test environment if that would help?
    Meanwhile, here’s how the error manifests front end on a site with the above setup, minus the simple press install..

    Yes, if you or anyone can provide steps to recreate the issue, I will be able to get this fixed FAST. But I can’t do that until I can actually trigger the same error.

    Also just FYI, the location on the site/page where the PHP error is displayed is not important (just means that you have your site configured to display PHP errors, which is always a bad idea for production sites).
