New updates makes the website unusable

  • the new update has made the plugin has made the website unusable. Switched to another plugin with even more functionality.

    Thanks for the feedback on the latest version. Yes, we did make a behavior change with the notification functionality in the latest version to show and inform customers the store is closed in a more visible way. Sorry to hear this new change did not meet your business requirements. If you decide the plugin is no longer a good fit, we understand and respect the decision to delete or revert to a previous version. We continue to be committed to the development of Free and Premium features and we hope the community can understand and support our efforts to maintain the plugin.

    As mentioned in my other response to you this is not for you to make it more visible for users that the website is closed. It was to prevent the website from being usable in every way possible. The color red has the highest saturation and stands out the most so a banner that says the store is closed will grab every user’s attention and they wouldn’t need an entire disabled site that the eCommerce is closed.

    To anyone reading this simply add a red banner and put your cart/checkout page to private. They are other plugins for store hours control as well.
