New upgrade works great! I’m not fond of the developer, but the plugin is the best on the planet when it’s working. None better anywhere.

Please use latest version. It looks like you are using old-version of our plugin which was not playing nice with PHP 5.4 and older version.

As far as money is concern, buying premium upgrades is 100% optional. Its called Freemium business model. Link – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

No, that’s not true. After upgrading, to get your script to work, you asked for $100. Seems like your create upgrades that don’t work to generate revenues. Very tricky!

Then when hundreds complain in public you show up with the fix. How much money did you drag out of small site owners who had no choice but to pay you, or have their site shut down?

With your absurd argument, if I charge everyone $100 to fix. Won’t that make me millionaire if I have hundreds of people asking for a fix?

Anyway, this is open-source project. Anyone can fix, modify, update – do whatever they want without my permission or paying us.

There was just a typo in code. Had you checked code yourself, you could have fixed it in 2 minutes.

We only ask for admin-access when we need to debug. Period.

Also, for general reference, that old issue which made sites inaccessible for some users was related to using anonymous function which are not supported in PHP 5.2.x.

    Its a common mistake. See – https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/edit-flow/changelog/

Edit-flow is a plugin by Automattic itself. In version 0.7.3 they accidentally added anonymous function. Refer to line:

Bug fix: Support PHP 5.2.x by removing the anonymous functions we mistakenly added

I am sorry but I won’t be able to please or get into this argument further. We need to roll-out group-feature for BuddyPress-media which is already delayed. So please allow me to focus there.

What are the various costs for premium upgrades?

It will be nice to know the details before using the plugin imo.

    Thank you.

Sorry for delayed reply. I am traveling from last 2-3 days.

All premium upgrade pricing can be found in our store – https://rtcamp.com/store/

Currently only BuddyPress-Media FFMPEG addon is available for sale which is related to BuddyPress Media. It is for $49.

We have Kaltura Addon (currently not for sale) which is alternative to FFMPEG (you can use Kaltura for video conversion). It costs $99.

Then we have “Premium membership” addon in planning stage which will also cost $99. That module will have things like upload quota, paypal-subscription integration, etc.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
