New User but not Member in PMPro

    I really need some help!!
    I have installed Paid Membership Pro and set up 3 membership levels. however, when I try and create a new member using the Registration form I get an error message saying there is an issue with my username and/or password.
    When I go into the cPanel, I see the member has been created as a USER in WordPress but they are not a MEMBER in PMPro.
    Is there an easy way to sort this?

    Hi Joe,

    Thank you for trying Paid Memberships Pro, I’m sorry to hear about the issue you have run into here.

    By the sounds of it, there is something interfering with the user registration. This could be caused from another plugin or custom code.

    Do you have any other plugin that may require additional steps to let user’s login, such as reCAPTCHA at login or two factor authentication.

    Does this issue occur for your free membership levels as well or only paid levels?

    Hi Andrew, thank you so much. I was running reCaptcha by BestWebSoft. I deactivated it and tried to create a new member and it worked perfectly!!
