New user can’t login

  • Hi All – I’ve set up a new user in the Admin panel.

    The new user is set as an admin. When I log out and try and log in again to the admin panel with the new user I cannot login – it just says “ERROR: Incorrect Password”.

    Can anyone help as its causing me a real headache as I need to set up various users in the admin panel!

  • Did you use the password sent by e-mail?

    @ breger When setting up users through the admin an email isn’t sent as you type the password you want when you create the user.

    Do your server logs have anything in them the might be helpful.

    I’m having a similar problem. The “admin” account works fine. However, I set up a new user, was VERY careful with the password and user name (and verified it 10 times), but STILL the new user is unable to login. Every time I try, I get the message “incorrect password”. What the heck???

    I have this issue but even with the users who enter themselves. User must log in with new browser and unless they do, they get “invalid password” even when copying and pasting direct from the system generated email.

    I had the same problem and realized that for some reason the user name is case sensitive…so check the user name…
