New User of Events Organizer/ Questions

Hi I have installed event organizer and having some issues pulling in the events into the post pages.

I have a theme that will only pull in certain types of content and so i’ve created the events and want to be able to pull those events into my post or pages using shortcodes because of the limitations.

I have 3 different bands and i want to list each specific bands events using a short code. Is this possible and if so can someone point me in the right direction.
