New User Registration Email Notification

    Hi Voltronik,

    Thanks for a great plugin. I just need a little help.

    I want to set up a notification for New User Registration BUT I do not find “ACTIVATION LINK” shortcode in the available shortcodes.

    I searched the forum before creating this topic and found a topic at “https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/active-user-account-email/”. It has been marked as resolved but the shortcodes referred here do not provide for “Activation Link”.

    Kindly help.

    Thanks for your message.

    Are you referring to the activation link for a new Multisite site or the password reset URL for a new user?

    Thanks for your response.

    On my site, new users are required to verify their email address after signup. For that purpose, the system sends the new user an email with a link that the user has to click to verify his email address.

    I need to add that “Email Verification Link” to my email.

    Ah, I see.

    There isn’t any support for specific plugins except for those in the documentation.
    I will investigate adding support however if there is enough demand for it.

    Hi Jack,

    I’m not a developer, therefore I never knew that the email verification is not a WordPress default function. My site is using more than 60 plugins including BuddyPress with a premium theme and its hard to figure out which plugin is responsible for sending out the email verification link.

    Anyway, your quick responses are very impressive and I highly appreciate your help.
