    Hi @mlaurel,
    Thanks for your message.

If, when creating a notification there is a yellow notice that says something along the lines of ‘you can’t do this due to a restriction within WordPress’ then you won’t be able to change the email headers. If there isn’t this notice however, you can change it by ticking the ‘Set “From: Name & Email, CC, BCC’ checkbox.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks @voltronik,

    Yes, I saw the notice.

The reason I was asking is because anything with the header [email protected] gets filtered into promotion with gmail.

Is there anything on the back end that can be altered to change the sender?

If that’s in the pro version & I’m not aware of it…then it changes everything.

    Hi @mlaurel,
    Ok, understood.

As it’s a restriction in WordPress, there wouldn’t be anything I could do, even in a ‘pro’ version, which BNFW doesn’t have.
I do have a support article about this along with a solution but it comes with a caveat, you can read more about this here: https://betternotificationsforwp.com/documentation/compatibility/changing-name-email-transactional-notifications/

Thank you, read the caveat ?? – I’ll test it out & see how it goes.
