New user role to approve new registrations

Hello

The UM install involved is on a sub-site (sub-domain) of a wp multisite.

Registrations are subject to review by the site owner before they are approved and activated. The site owner has Editor role/privileges in the core WP.

How do I enable this Editor to approve and activate the reviewed registration?

I’ve created a new community role for the Editor: Approvals. But I don’t know how to grant that role the privilege of approving/activating registrations (it’s not on the standard access settings page in USER ROLES).

This and one more issue (about accessible-only-by-logged-in-users pages being accessible publicly instead) and I’m going live!
