New user signups

Hi,

Thank you for developing this plugin – very helpful.

I wanted support regarding two things:
(i) how can I receive an admin email notification when a new user signs up using this plugin?
(ii) I notice when users sign up, they are automatically assigned “subscriber” roles. How can I change this, as I need them to be another role and, at the moment, I have to manually re-assign the roles?
