• Not too sure I like having an ‘all in one’ feature like this?

I discovered that when adding a new user; and after entering all the relevant information; on ‘add user’ I get ‘enter your password twice’?

This is, there are no ‘two’ password fields nor could I use the default one?

So I disabled JP and then all was fine again?

Reinstalled WP and JP with same result.

Is this because of a setting in JP that I cannot add a new user?

    Many Thanks

    UPDATE:

    Found the problem…

The problem is when ‘Protect’ is enabled; turn it off, all is well

Seems to defeat the main reason to use JP?

    Thanks for the feedback!

Could you give me more details about the issue? I’m not sure I understand the problem at the moment.

When going to Users > Add New, WordPress indeed generates a default strong password for you. It’s actually one of the main improvements of the latest version of WordPress, 4.3. You can read more about it here:
    https://make.www.ads-software.com/core/2015/07/28/passwords-strong-by-default/

Jetpack and the Protect modules do not change anything on that page though.

Do you see something different on your end? If so, could you make a screenshot and share it with us here?
You can use a service like https://snag.gy/ to post screenshots here.

    Thanks!
