• I have only 2 levels, a monthly membership and an annual membership but when people sign up they dont seem to be given one of these levels.

example, if they sign up, under ‘Users’ Membership level displays None, if I click on that user Membership current level shows None.

Also, under memberships and then member list, that user is not listed.

    please help

That output is normal (although I’m going to update our code to be a little less verbose about things) for accessing the IPN URL directly.

I really would hate to copy the content from the blog post I linked to into the replies here, but basically you just want to make sure that the page loads (no issue with the IPN script running) and the timestamp updates (the script is not being cached) and then go into the other troubleshooting steps to make sure that PayPal can connect to the script and that there are no errors when it does so.

Hi, im still having the same issue, is there any way I can get this up and running without paying? You can see that I can get a return from the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=ipnhandler on my site but I dont know what else to do next.

    thank you

also, I am getting the debug emails, can it be posted in here safely? It says Invalid, but cant see a reason

I am having the same issue though I use GOURL.IO for bitcoin instead of PayPal.

New users sign up and it doesnt automatically update their status to a paying user. this is what the checkout page looks like after users have signed up and then I have to go in and manually update all their accounts.

“Your payment has been submitted. Your membership will be activated shortly.
Below are details about your membership account. A welcome email has been sent to *****
    Account: *****
    Membership Level: Pending
If your account is not activated within a few minutes, please contact the site owner.”

seriously, over 2 months now and no assistance, please can someone help.

Unfortunately coleburg, there is not much more we can do without gaining access to their specific sites and spending lots of time debugging your specific setup.
So to do this you would need to go and get a signup to the membership site here.
    https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/membership-checkout/?level=6

please understand that this FULL plugin you have is totally FREE for you to use. Unfortunately for you, the support is very limited.

If you dont want to pay for support, then you could either hire a developer to fix the problem for you or maybe search google to see if someone has already found a fix..

We hope you understand and can get your problem fixed somehow.

    Thanks for chiming in Pete.

Coleburg and Brian, sorry if the troubleshooting post doesn’t help you to resolve the issue. For us to help at this point we would need to get access to your site and more information so we can debug the issue hands on. This takes quite a bit of time for us, and I have to pay the people to do that. We do this routinely for our paid members. I hope you can understand and get help if you still need it. Thanks.
