New Users Should Not Be Able to Register — But They Can

  • My blog, electionupdates.caltech.edu, does not allow users to register. It also does not allow comments. There is no link anywhere, as far as I can tell, which allows users to register a new account. Yet, several people have registered new accounts.

    Why is this happening, and how do I stop it?

    Log in. If you click it it gives you the option to register.

    Remove the link.

    No, that’s not true. If you click there, it brings you to a login screen, with no option to register. The only option is to check for a lost password.
