  • I am getting fatal errors too and causing my website to go down. Please check the problem. Deleted all files to the plug-in and the site returned. Attempted to reinstall the plugin but received plugin install errors.

This is very unprofessional update from plugin author. Without double check they released the update. Even 4 hours gone still no update from them.

Oh my goodness, we have ads running right now, I just updated the plugin and got fatal error. Please resolve it ASAP.

Or please tell me is there anyway to reinstate the plugin to previous version?

@sahniumar First deactivate the plugin. Then install rollback plugin. Then you can downgrade the plugin and activate it

@shovonbk Thank you mate. You saved my life <3

Hi @shovonbk – I am not able to deactivate the plugin & I am also not able to access the admin panel .How to solve the issue now?

    Hello anand735?
    connect via FTP… open wp-content/plugins/header-footer-elementor
rename the folder “header-footer-elementor” to “header-footer-elementor2”
Now you can open the login page.
Download here the old version 1.6.28
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/header-footer-elementor/advanced/
Then open in WordPress the plugin page. Upload the old version….

    good luck ??

    Hi everyone,

We’re sorry for the mess. We have fixed the issue. Please install the latest update, v1.6.31, to resolve this problem.

If your site login page is not accessible, you will need to disable the plugin using FTP. Here is an article that explains how to disable a plugin using FTP.

As mentioned in the article, you need to rename the plugin folder. As mentioned in the last comment above, the one you need to rename is the header-footer-elementor folder. Once you rename the folder, you can log in to your site and reinstall the plugin.

Please let us know how you go.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
