New version how it works and why I want it?

How does it work?

The latest updated changed the way the error reporting mechanism work. If before it was reading the error log from the file, in the newest version, all errors are captured during the run time (it means on the fly).

The reason we changed this behavior is because we were getting a lot of inaccurate reports and we came to conclusion that PHP error log file is not a reliable source of information in some specific situations.

Why do you need it?

There are two main reason you might need WP Error Fix. The first and very important reason is that you can always find out what kind of errors your website has. It is crucial to have your website error free to improve user experience (nobody wants to see any errors printed on the page) and sometimes prevent from hacking attacks.

When we receive error reports from your website, we analyze each carefully and provide fixes. Sometimes one fix (for the average cost of 50 cents) can fix all your errors. Sometimes fixes are free. It all depends on type of errors and what plugin or theme causes it.

Oh nice! I have been waiting for something like this to come along for quite some time now.

I had about 6 problems from a very annoying plugin called Picking Pal since the last update, I would love to find solutions from the author but some of these devs just don’t respond or don’t care.
I am willing to pay for complex fixes if they work. The ability to have free fixes are a nice touch.

Make sure that Error Fix is activated (click big yellow button Activate Error Fix). This will allows us to receive error reports from your website so we can analyze.

I’ll personally will track our server for any errors related to Picking Pal plugin and will fix them as soon as they’ll arrive to our server.

The updates look good and I am going to backup my site and try some fixes today.

I would like to clear the log and only try fixes for new errors for testing, how can I do this?

Go to wp-content/errorfix folder and remove the storage.php file.
