    Hey
I’ve a pro version and I’m using shortcodes.
    [passster captcha=”recaptcha” role=”administrator,editor,subscriber,vip”]
After updating to new version it shows only simple addition “captcha” and after solving it the hidden content isn’t shown at all.
Also Activate Protection feature doesn’t work with custom post types.
I did upgrade and immediately went to old version. Please restore the features for free version and pro.

    Hey @eliot35,

    thanks for your message.

I have not removed any features from Passster.
All old features will be available in v3+.

    Your shortcode is correct.
Maybe your keys are not valid anymore (upgrade ReCaptcha from v2 to v3) you can check that in Passster->Settings->External Services.

There is also a compatibility mode added in 3.3.2 in Passster->Settings->General
when you activate the option “DDeactivate Ajax and use page reload.” it doesn’t use ajax and instead reloads the page as older versions did it.

    Best regards,
    Patrick

Nope it’s still doesn’t work and I’ve recaptcha v3 keys. Maybe it’s because of custom post types.
Deactivate Ajax and use page reload fixes issue with loading content.

It’s working when I click on that Activate Protection button, but now from shortcode. Btw why did you remove shortcode generator? It’s bad for new users since they can’t see there is that option.

    Hey @eliot35,

    thanks for your follow-up.

It worked absolutely fine on my local environment and my live test site (with Ajax), but I think you are right – there seems to be a problem that I can’t replicate.

I’m in contact with a user which has the same problem and troubleshoot it on their staging environment.

    Shortcode generator:
It’s basically replaced with the documentation for now: https://patrickposner.dev/docs/passster/shortcode/

It’s not a final decision so, a lot depends on the feedback. It was mainly a decision to clean things up. The main idea was to replace it later with a Gutenberg Block and a TinyMCE Button so that no one needs to write the shortcode manually.

hello. since the very last update, all custom shortcode on my free version disappeard.

    for example:

[passster password=”123″ headline=”accès protégé” placeholder=”Write the answer” instruction=”Enter the date of the event in short format” button=”CLIQUEZ ICI”]
    CONTENT
    [/passster]

now it’s the default text on every pages.. why?

hello. editing the paragraph with the custom page editor (part on the left), it works. let’s start editing all my 100+ posts :/

hello. sorry for spamming but ok i understand it’s now globally edited from the custom editor. great, i can manage the form from one single place. it’s resolved. thanks

    Hey @1suisse,

there is currently a bug, which does not apply the text customizations from the shortcode parameters to the rendered form. The update for that will be available pretty soon and then everything should work fine again.

    Best regards,
    Patrick
