New Version Not Compatible with WP 4.8

    Hello. I love your Easy Facebook Likebox plugin. However, I’ve run into an issue when updating it. Even though it was updated just 2 days ago, I get this warning:

    Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.

    I updated it anyway and was unable to access my site. I think it’s a php error. So I deleted it and used the previous version from a backup I had.

    Please help.

  • Sounds like they fixed it. You will have to log into your Cpanel of your website and go to your wp-content/plugins folder then rename the easy-facebook-likebox plugin to something like OLDeasy-facebook-likebox. You’ll be able to log into your site again.

    Then Uninstall the plugin. (it will be deactivated automatically because you renamed the plugin). Reinstall it again. The developer fixed the issue.

    Or if you’re comfortable with reinstalling it the manual way. That works too.

    Please reinstall the plugin as @tsmediapix suggested it will be fine.

    Will I lose my settings if I do this? Also, do you offer a Facebook Group Plugin? Thanks very much!

    No, you will not lose the setting.
    No, facebook doesn’t allow groups post to show.
