I just installed the newest version of Customizer Pro, and now the Slider is not functioning properly.

When it slides, it slides the scaled-down or thumbnail version of the picture, and then after the slide has taken place, then it expands that slide to the full and proper size. It’s kind of an ugly slide effect, let me tell you.

The positioning and scaling of the slide no longer seems to be the same either when it reaches its full and proper size, and thus some of the slides now appear to be out-of-center.

The floating button also seems to be in a different position now, or maybe it’s just the fact that the images no longer center the same.

One or two of the images in my slider are NOT scaling right any more, and thus some of the ‘good bits’ are being cropped and left out.

Where do I find a copy of the previous version of Customizer Pro so that I can get my slider back and working properly again?

My Home Page for my Customizer Pro site looks horrible now and is simply unacceptable! I need to get the previous version back, please!

The slider that I’m using is the built-in slider that is built through the Media -> Library -> Edit more details. It’s kind of a convoluted way of going about building a slider, but it worked just fine in the past, once I got my initial images scaled and positioned right.

I’m using 1.0.13 of Customizer Pro.

The home page slider is now broken in all three of the browsers that I use, Internet Explorer, FireFox, and Google Chrome. The wreckage looks bad in all of them.

    Hi ThetaOrion,
thanks for reporting this. We’re looking into that.
Meantime about where retrieving an old version of Customizr-Pro, as pro user you might want to open a new topic here ??

    Cheers

To help mitigate this problem, I’m now converting all of my slides to 1170 X 500. They don’t look as good when scaled up to wide-screen, but they seem to work okay.

The slides should be built, adjusted, resized, and scaled OFF-SCREEN, and then slid into view onscreen.

In the most recent versions of Customizer Pro, the whole process has been broken, and the slides are now slid onto the screen “as is”, and then built, adjusted, resized, and scaled ON-SCREEN. Now, you have to make your slides 1170 by 500 so that when they are now slid “as is” the slide goes well and when they are adjusted ON-SCREEN in view of the world there is minimal adjusting taking place.

Someone broke the logic on the slider in the most recent couple of versions, so now the way to work around it is to go back in and make all of your slides 1170 by 500. I found that you also have to make the slide size 600 in the Customize -> Home Page -> Slider instead of default 500 so that the ON-SCREEN adjusting of the 1170 X 500 images are not so jarring and obnoxious on the 1080p widescreen.

It’s a pain in the behind, and the 1170 X 500 images on WideScreen don’t look as good as full-size images; but, since they messed this thing up now, there is no choice but to make your images 1170 X 500 and hope that your users are using lower resolution monitors.

Nick also needs to put the 1170 X 500 recommended size right on the Customize -> Content -> Front Page -> Slider Options for the whole world to see, so that we all know upfront what the goal of our images should be.

Instead of going back to previous versions of Customizer Pro, I have decided instead to make all of my images 1170 X 500, and then hope that they don’t destroy the thing again when they decide to change it once again.

    Hi ThetaOrion,
look that this has been fixed in the latest Customizr (3.3.8) and (Customir-Pro 1.0.15) versions.
    Can you confirm it?
