New Version of Facebook Page Cannot Detect

    Hi Jetpack Team,

    As you know facebook has a new version of facebook page.

    And apparently, Jetpack for WordPress cannot detect these new kind of facebook page.

    Please help.

    Hi @talenodigital,

    I don’t think this has something to do with the Facebook New Pages experience. We’ve been up-to-date on any changes (particularly related to their API) that would prevent this feature from working.

    I’m suspecting it’s a permissions issue. Are you the owner/admin of the Facebook page in question, or did the admin give you access to manage the page under another page role?

    Hi Daniel,

    I’m 100% sure I’m the admin of my FB Page.

    In fact, I just tried to create another page, and it’s not being detected by Jetpack as well.

    Hi Joey

    I just created a brand new Facebook page and I was able to connect it to my test site without any issues.

    When you click connect, you’ll see:

    You’ve previously linked Jetpack to Facebook
    Would you like to continue with your previous settings?

    Click ‘Edit Settings’ and make sure your new Facebook page is selected there.

    Sorry for the delay here.

    This isn’t currently possible with LinkedIn pages.

    There is an open feature request for it here but no current timeline for when or if support for LinkedIn pages might be added:
