New Version = screwed up site

    I have multiple sites, I uploaded to the latest update and I am having serious problems.
    Pages take SEVERAL seconds to load.. I get reports of No GZIP compression, Reduce the number of DOM elements with the new update. I can run a GTmetrix scan and one time it is fine and the next time, just a minutes later it takes up to 39 seconds to load a page.
    I had excellent page speed before the update. I deactivated the plugin and still, the problem continues.
