New WE site made with WordPress

  • werock.org is the official website of the norwegian band WE, and I’ve just relaunched it with wordpress.

    Magnus Jepson, jepson.no, has made the theme based on the cover art from WE’s latest cd.

    I’ve put a whole bunch of plugins to good use :

    I’ve still got some work left with css on the gigpress page, filling up the gallery etc.

    First look;
    Simple and effective use of typography. This is a very good thing, many people doesn’t even seem to ever have read about typography and think that “fonts” are typography. ??

    Second look;
    I think you could have worked some more on the formatting in the sub pages though. They feel a bit “thrown out” more or less.

    Else it is solid and strong and it seem to communicate well for it’s target audience.
