  • too wordy.

    put some pictures

Looks like a great start. There are several things that could be worked on so here’s what I would do first:

    1. Remove or greatly reduce the welcome message. That should be on an About page. It might also be helpful if you put some info about yourself. The MMO space is very crowded so the best way to differentiate your info from others is YOU.

    2. The blocks of text are too difficult to read. Spacing between paragraphs are inconsistent, there are no sub-headings, and no bold/italics.

    3. “Survey’s” is misspelled several times, including your nav. It should read SURVEYS with no apostrophe. Seeing it that way will deter many from going further.

    4. As neorackle stated, sprinkle a picture in each post if you can to break them up.

    5. I also agree with neorackle with the words. You’re using way too many words to get your points across. Keeping posts concise is key.

I was trying to express the amount of knowledge I had in the field so I wrote long posts I GREATLY appreciate your advice and am in the process of updating/improving it with the advice you gave me. I thought it was to much text as well but I was struggling with a way to fix it without taking out information.

what exactly should I put on the home page then if not a welcome message? I will add an about me page as well

I came up with the idea of having little snippets of my various ways to earn below my home welcome message. Then if the few sentences they read interests them they could click on a read more button and it would take them to the full post. How do i go about doing this though? THANKS AGAIN!!!!

You don’t really need a welcome message. Unless you have valuable content (and IMO, a welcome message is not one of them), your blog page could server as your home page.

As for using snippets, those are called excerpts. Your theme may allow you to use them straight out of WP but if not, there are plugins to help you do that as well.

But even if you’re using excerpts, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t cut the lard out of your writing.
