• The legacy widget and shortcode have a setting to disable the book a table link. The new widget doesn’t have that, so you can’t hide that link.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The new widget you are referring to isn’t actually a widget. WordPress is showing you the contact card block. And, you’re correct that the block doesn’t currently have a parameter for hiding that link. That info/parameter is actually pulled from the Five Star Restaurant Reservations plugin and works automatically in the contact card block. If you have something selected for the Booking Page option (in the basic area of the reservation plugin settings), then the contact card block will automatically display the “Book a table” link.

That being said, we can look into adding an extra parameter to the block, to give you more control.

For the time being, if you need that extra control, is there any reason you can’t use the shortcode there instead?

Thanks, yes I can keep on using the shortcode or legacy widget for now. I only noticed it was missing and wanted you to make aware of it, as it’s easier to use the block.

    Thanks
