    Hello,

I’ve installed Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress which i supposed to display some analytics in a new widget on Dashboard.
But it does not show up on this website where client dashed is installed.
Neither with admin or custom role and new client dash “customizer” does not permit to add this Google Analytics widget.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

I did some testing and confirmed it does show up for me. However, I had to also install this plugin in order to show the Dashboard Widget: https://analytify.io/add-ons/google-analytics-dashboard-widget-wordpress/

Can you confirm you have that plugin installed and active in addition to the Google Analytics Dashboard for WordPress plugin?

    Hello Joe,
    Thanks for your message.

The plugin I was talking about is different :
    https://fr.www.ads-software.com/plugins/google-analytics-dashboard-for-wp/

But I installed Analytify both plugins.
It does not show up a widget in Home Dashboard, but it add an admin menu
leading to a page where stats are displayed.
I could add this new menu item to the custom menu I made for a certain role.
But I get a “You don’t have access to Analytify Dashboard when I am logged with this role”.

Yet I get the stats on pages and posts as I added the role in “Show Analytics to roles ( posts & pages )”

Nice but I just wanted a simple way to display general stats in home dashboard for my client. Jetpack stats don’t display either or the plugin I mentionned or this one…

    Best.

    Marc,

I did some more testing and I think I see your problem. I customized the Administrator dashboard widgets with Client Dash, and then activated the Google Analytics plugin. I see there is no way to add the dashboard widget in now.

There is definitely something wrong here. I will be looking into this ASAP and making sure it gets fixed. I’ll let you know.

    Hey there,

Thanks for your patience. I just pushed a new update. I tested with the Google plugin and the new dashboard widget should become available for adding if you customize the Dashboard.

    Let me know. Thanks!

    Hi Joe,

    Many thanks !
Yes new dashboard widgets including Analytify are now avalaible.
I customized admin and one custom role.
When I stay in Client Dash customizer the new widget is visible.
When I log with admin, it is still there, but when I log with custom role it does not appear.

    Best.

If you are using the original plugin you mentioned, please make sure you have given the custom role proper access in the “Backend Settings” under “Google Analytics”. See screenshot: https://d.pr/i/U2wQ23

    Hello Joe,

Thanks a lot, it works now with that plugin.
But not with Analytify, yet I set the proper roles. Does not matter for me.

    I am happy now.

    Cheers.

Thanks for the info! I will look into Analytify for the sake of others. I’m glad your issue is resolved!

    All the best.
