“New Window” option (target=_blank) does not work with Coin Slider

    Hello, I found that for some reason the “New Window” option that can be enabled for the link URL of each slide does not work with the Coin Slider, whereas it does work with the three other slider types. With the Coin Slider enabled, clicking on a slide image always opens the link in the current window even if “New Window” is checked. There is no target=_blank parameter in the HTML source.

    I’m afraid that this is built into Coin Slider itself. Coin Slider is one of the older sliders in Meta Slider, and primarily included for legacy and compatibility reasons.

    If FlexSlider or Responsive Slides works, we recommend using one of these options.

    Ah, okay … I wasn’t aware that the sliders are separate units that you cannot modify. I would have preferred Coin Slider just because it has the smallest whitespace area below the image.
