• I’ve read through most of the relevant forums, but couldn’t find anything relating to this theme… i uploaded the New Yorker theme to my website this morning. everything was fine. When I posted a blog, it showed up on the Home page, but did not show up on the Post page. What i’d like to have is a static Home page and then whenever I post a new blog, it will just show up in the Post page. I think I need to go into the theme itself and delete the Home page from there, but I’m not sure. I’ve tried just creating a new page and calling it Home, but then I’m stuck with two home pages and my blogs don’t show up in the Post page. Please help me – i’m pulling my hair out and am running out of hair!

  • Does that theme have a template file called home.php? If yes, delete it or rename it to something else.

i do not see a home.php folder. now what? i also now have another problem. I went in to the r_sidebar.php and changed the name of one item and suddenly, everything in the right sidebar disappeared (calendar, etc) . I did some minor changes this morning and everything was fine. Thanks for your help.
