Newb – Installing Hyperion Theme – Help!

Hi I have installed the cool looking Hyperion Theme.

But the navigation hasn’t appeared along the header, and the Jquery slider isn’t picking up images.

As it is the first time I have installed a theme (I have read most of the Tuts)
I am assuming I may have installed it wrong?
