Newbie Error – PROPER need help.

    Hi,

    Just starting with WordPress locally hosted website.

    I was in the process of editing pages, went into setting and altered where the local host could find my website on my Mac.

    Every time i now log onto the dashboard i get Error Not Found message.

    I know what it should point to but i cannot find the document to edit to put it back to original settings.

    Does this make sense?

    Any help gratefully accepted. Thanks in advance.

  • Do you mean you changed the WordPress or Site Address (URL) under Settings, General in the WordPress dashboard?

    If this is what you did, check out this page

    If that isn’t your problem, just provide a little more detail about exactly what you did.

    Hiya,

    Yes, that’s exactly what it was. I have gone ahead and rebuilt what i had already done. I wasn’t too far in but was properly stuck at the time.
