• Totally new to WordPress. But I got 2.5.2 uploaded okay. Then I unzipped and unloaded a theme to my server (Revolution Magazine) and then went to my WordPress Admin page. When I click on “Theme Editor” all I see is code. I thought themes were “widgetized” meaning you could see a page outline and drag and drop stuff. What am I missing? No way can I edit all that code.
PLease tell me I’m missing something here.
    Thanks,
    Tom

    Sorry I meant 2.5.1.

Thats right. Thats where you edit the theme files. Theyre pretty much written in ‘code’.

Like phpnuke and its boxes? nope.

WordPress does not come with a WYSIWYG kind of theme editor that you describing. Drag and drop widgets are under the widgets tab and still wont net you what you are describing.

Hey, there, Tom. You purchased that theme, right?

Revolution themes have pretty active support forums where you’ll get a lot more Revolution-specific assistance than you can get here. The forum I linked to is just for the Revolution Magazine theme.

That’s a really nice theme. Not sure if it’s worth the cost, but it’s pretty nice. Is it easy to use?
