I am an archaeologist who does some photogrammetry and I am trying to display the models I have created in WordPress, so this plugin is great.Thank you for creating it. That being said I have a .GLB file uploaded and is shown in the library and galleries, however when I tried to hit the inspect button (eye) I get a failed to init preview. This happens even on the sample car model.

I see the shortcode however I am not sure once I copy that where I paste it in wordpress to get the model to display on a page.

I am very new at this and would really appreciate some guidance towards just basic tutorials/documentation. I realize this plug in is very new.

  • I’m a game designer and I have low poly 3D assets I want to host online using this plugin. I really like the look of it.

I had the same problem as @jhublerd

My .glb file is uploaded and when I hit the inspect button it gives me the same error code. Similarly, the short code that I see only has the direct link to the file, and I don’t think it will host the 3D file visually like I’m hoping.

    Any input would be helpful.
    Thank you!

@jhublerd I may have figured it out.

I went into galleries and added a new gallery and then uploaded my 3D model to the gallery. Then, it gives me the options I was looking for, and the proper short code at the very bottom, which does work as expected.

I was uploading the model and then trying to put it directly in, but I was missing the gallery section completely. The gallery is the key.

    Hope that helps!
