Newbie :/ How do I remove original 'Home' Page

Ive just searched on here and couldn’t find the ‘fix’ for this.

So I apologise if it’s already on here somewhere,

I have just created a static page as my homepage, and named it (Home1)

But now on my homepage both the original home page (with comments etc) is still there, aswel as the new one (home1)

Ideally I want to get rid of the original home, so I dont have the comments and blog on the homepage.

Help?!
