• [Topic modified – “Newbie issues” is not a useful topic]

I am very new to WordPress…I have been asked to create a site for someone using it and so far, I am really confused by what is happening with the pages that I have created. I have chosen a theme: Mimino , that I love, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where the page that I am viewing when I chose to “visit site” is actually sitting in the pages. I’d appreciate it if someone could point it out to me!

My second problem is that, now that I have added the pages I’d like to have appear in my menu, when I click on them the template seems to be broken and things are running into each other and the menu is not showing on them.

  • In admin panel you can goto appearance -> menus and add pages you created to your menu ??

‘visit site’ usually takes you directly to the homepage while there are shortcuts inside new posts / new pages to preview. Stuff you preview will not be available on the site until you publish the post.

Thanks Keith. I’ve added the ages to the menu. They all appear on the landing page of the site, but when I click on the links to the menu pages, they all appear jumbled up. Is this an issue with the theme? Can it be that it does not jive with the newest WP and that is why I am having these issues? An example:

Add some fake text to the content area of the page and see if that corrects the issue.
