    Hi @iyikotueksi,

What happens when you add the shortcode and visit the page? At the moment you have some Gutenberg created content but no output from our plugin so not sure if the shortcode is still in there.

Does it just show the shortcode itself? It means WP isn’t parsing the shortcode for some reason.

Does it show nothing at all? It means WP parses the shortcode but does not output anything.

it doesn’t short code neither authors. It shows nothing. So wp parses code but not outputting anyting. Is it about my wp version(5.4.3)?

    Thx for the reply.

    Hi @iyikotueksi

What happens if you simply add [authors_list], no extra parameters.

If it works out like that, then it’s possible that in the shortcode you used the quotes were the “curly” version which WordPress (and code in general) won’t consider to be the type of quotes that surround a value.

    In that case try this:

    [authors_list style="2" columns="2" amount="4" show_count="no"]

You’ll notice the slight difference in how the quotes look compared to:

    [authors_list style=”2″ columns=”2″ amount=”4″ show_count=”no”]

The forum automatically switches to “curly” quotes unless it’s wrapped in code tags.

    Hi @iyikotueksi

Something just occurred to me after submitting the last comment.

If what I mentioned above does not help, try this:

    [authors_list style="2" columns="2" amount="4" show_count="no" only_authors="no"]
