    Hi,
    First of all I really love the idea of this plugin, so thank you Daan for creating it!

    I still haven’t installed it yet, I went through the forum to see what kind of troubles could i possibly go through, so I might just ask you here, before doing anything that will break my site just before launching ( a real newbie ??

    I’m using Elementor Pro, theme Hello, WP optimize, wordfence, woocommerce and translatepress, Complianz GDPR. I did some CSS directly in Elementor plugin and Complianz plugin. I was wondering how should I be careful enough before installing the plugin ( I’d really want to be compliant with GDPR) that fonts will load normally and will be compatible with woocommerce and translatepress (french and english translation). Are there some precautions to do before the install?

    If I may, we have an article on OMGF on Complianz: https://complianz.io/self-hosting-google-fonts-for-wordpress/

    You can use the cookie scan afterward in incognito to see if it works. I have used OMGF personally as well in a similar set-up without issues.

    You can also host Google Fonts locally, then block Google Fonts with Complianz temporarily to see if it changes anything and then proceed to remove traces to the API completely.

    It’s all reversible and I’m sure Daan is ready to help you out if needed:)

    Great, thank you very much for your reply. I wasn’t even aware of that! I will follow your instructions and we’ll see how that goes, fortunately for the good!
    And as you say, maybe Daan could come in if there’s a problem, but prefer to ask before breaking anything.

    Hi there again,

    I’ve installed the plugin and successfully installed the fonts as well. I have tested with Complianz as well, and didn’t show me no request to google fonts api, so I think it’s done. I have checked with gmetrix as well to see if there are some requests, and there is no (not that I’ve seen) . So happy! ??
