newbie trouble

  • I am new to wp and half of the options I am suppost to have are not there.I have no website configuration page, no way to add banner codes, can someone plz help me, I am unable to go any farther on the tutorials

  • is your site with WordPress.com or self-hosted and has WordPress.org installed?

    what theme are you using?

    where do you get the idea about ‘website configuration page’ etc from?

    these are not default WordPress options.

    There are literally thousands of WordPress themes – which means that many people won’t be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site where people can see the theme might result in more responses.

    You have a self-hosted WordPress site – not a wordpress.com site. Why do you think you should have options for banner codes?

    The tutorial from the company that set up the site showed this

    Then I think you need to go back to the company that set up your site and ask them.

    I did still waiting for a reply, also my widgets are gone.

    Sorry but you’ve had a 3rd party set up your site and their documentation claims that you should have this functionality, there’s nothing we can really do to help. None of the items you listed are part of WordPress core.
